One view of the whole child, built by people who’ve done the job.
Student Radar brings attendance, behaviour, SEND, safeguarding and pastoral signals together — updated as the day goes on, visible to the people who need it and nobody who doesn’t.
Why this exists
Most schools already have the information they need to spot a pupil in difficulty. It’s just scattered across six systems, three spreadsheets, a CPOMS export from last Tuesday, and the bit of paper a TA wrote on at break.
Student Radar exists because that arrangement, for all its long and respectable history, isn’t working. The pupils who fall through the gaps are almost always the ones whose signals lived in different places and never quite met in the same room at the same time.
We bring those signals together. Attendance, behaviour, SEND, safeguarding, pastoral notes — one view of the whole child, updated as the day goes on, visible to the people who need it and nobody who doesn’t.
Who’s behind it
Stuart Armley-Jones
Founder — former Assistant Head & SENCo
Student Radar is built by Stuart Armley-Jones, a former Assistant Head and SENCo who left the classroom in December 2025 to work on the platform full-time.
Thirteen years in schools. The CVs of edtech founders are not usually a selling point, but in this case the relevant qualification is the years spent doing the job the software is meant to support.
Student Radar is built from that experience rather than around it. Every workflow in the platform exists because something similar, done worse, used to take a Wednesday afternoon.

What we believe
Four ideas that shape every decision we make about the product.
The whole-child view shouldn’t require seven logins.
If a SENCo needs to open four tabs to understand one pupil, the tools are working against the people using them.
Early is cheaper than late.
For schools, for families, for the pupil. Most of what gets called “early intervention” in education isn’t early. It’s just slightly less late.
SENCos don’t need another dashboard. They need fewer.
Student Radar is designed to remove screens from your day, not add one.
Practitioner-built, practitioner-tested.
Every feature ships through people who’ve done the job. If it makes a SENCo’s Monday morning worse, it doesn’t ship.
Where we are
Early. Honest about it. The schools who join us now help shape what the platform becomes.
Pilot cohort
In active pilot with primary schools across the country.
BESA member
Member of BESA and shortlisted for BESA Start-Up of the Year 2026.
Wonde integration
We integrate with Wonde for school data, so onboarding doesn’t add work to your week.
The advantage of being early is that the schools who join us now help shape what the platform becomes. The disadvantage is that we don’t yet have a glossy case study from a multi-academy trust in the Home Counties. We’re working on it.
Talk to us
If you’re a SENCo, headteacher, inclusion lead, or trust leader, and any of the above sounds like a problem you recognise, we’d like to hear from you.
